    Default Fitting in the motor

here are a few pics of the mock up of the motor. Looking at the area for headers seems to have lots of room to work with. As you can see the Victor intake will require the the cowl to be cut back.

Thankfully some Pontiac folks pulled up their anchors that were firmly planted in the past and started to explore new uncharted waters.

A note: this is the Edelbrock headed motor. The CV-1 headed motor will also be checked and at a glance the valve covers will be closer to the strut towers. We will also show pics of how much clearance we will have.

How well do you think the Poncho motor would fit if you still had the factory K-member? What brand of Rack are you running? How hard was it to install?

I am considering purchasing this car to put my 428 in.

We used a BMR K member so I never tried to see if the stock unit would work, the rack is a bolt in, also from BMR. We used the the "turbo" k member to gain room for the headers.
