    Default Pontiac Hemi heads

New issue of Pontiac Enthusiast had an article about KRE's new hemi heads. Did some searching and not much new lately. Have you heard about them and what do you think?

Thankfully some Pontiac folks pulled up their anchors that were firmly planted in the past and started to explore new uncharted waters.

The article says- "with a true hemisperial combustion chamber and radically canted valves, the new five-axis, cnc'd head fits stock pontiac and MR-1 blocks without pushrod mods, and features 2.50 and 1.95 inch valves. the billet hemi war chief head's cavernous stock ports and monster valves flow up to 548 cfm on the intake and 406 cfm on the exhaust. "

Alex, how much more flow is that compared to the best on the market today and how much horsepower could one build say with a 505 cu in? Doesn't say anything about cc's or anything so not sure what type of compression you would be looking at...

Killer numbers, the current best for the CV1 is 460-470 and the tigers are in the same range at this time. 586cfm will support 1350 hp
